DigiOffice is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect – Infrastructure to support a large enterprise logistics organization in Atlanta, GA. This role will provide strategic infrastructure architecture leadership across enterprise platforms, including compute, cloud, network, storage, virtualization, security, and data center technologies.

The Enterprise Architect will work closely with IT leadership, infrastructure operations, application teams, security teams, and business stakeholders to design scalable, secure, resilient, and high-performing infrastructure solutions that support enterprise modernization, operational efficiency, and long-term business growth.

This role is ideal for a senior infrastructure architecture professional who can balance strategy and execution, establish standards, guide technical teams, and help modernize complex enterprise environments.

Note: This is a 100% on-site role in Johns Creek, GA. Remote or hybrid candidates will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

Infrastructure Architecture Strategy
  •  Align infrastructure strategy with business goals, technology modernization efforts, security requirements, and operational priorities. 
  •  Define future-state architecture across compute, storage, network, virtualization, cloud, and enterprise platform environments. 
  •  Identify technical risks, infrastructure gaps, and opportunities for standardization or modernization. 
  •  Provide strategic guidance on infrastructure investments, platform selection, and technology adoption. 
Cloud & Hybrid Infrastructure Architecture
  •  Design and support hybrid infrastructure environments that include on-premise data centers and cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.  
  •  Partner with engineering and operations teams to ensure cloud and hybrid solutions are secure, scalable, cost-effective, and supportable. 
  •  Guide decisions related to cloud connectivity, identity integration, security controls, monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery. 
Platform, Systems & Data Center Architecture
  •  Provide architecture leadership across enterprise infrastructure platforms, including: 
    •  Data center infrastructure 
    •  Virtualization platforms such as VMware 
    •  Container platforms such as Kubernetes and OpenShift 
    •  Enterprise storage systems 
    •  Backup and disaster recovery platforms 
    •  Identity and access management platforms 
    •  Enterprise networking and connectivity 
    •  Monitoring, observability, and infrastructure management tools 
  •  Review system dependencies and ensure infrastructure solutions are aligned with application and business needs.  
Governance, Standards & Architecture Review
  •  Participate in Architecture Review Board, design review, and technology governance processes. 
  •  Create reference architectures and design documentation for infrastructure platforms and services. 
  •  Ensure infrastructure designs comply with enterprise security, compliance, risk, and operational standards. 
Security, Resilience & Compliance
  •  Partner with cybersecurity teams to ensure infrastructure architecture meets security and compliance requirements. 
  •  Support architecture planning for disaster recovery, business continuity, backup, resilience, and high availability. 
  •  Ensure infrastructure solutions align with access control, identity management, network segmentation, vulnerability management, and data protection standards. 
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  •  Collaborate with IT leadership, infrastructure engineers, application teams, security teams, vendors, and business stakeholders. Translate business needs into scalable infrastructure architecture solutions. 
  •  Support project teams during design, implementation, testing, and production deployment. 
  •  Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. 
Documentation & Communication
  •  Develop and maintain architecture diagrams, technical design documents, standards, and infrastructure roadmaps. 
  •  Prepare executive-level summaries, recommendations, and technical presentations. 
  •  Provide regular updates to leadership on architecture initiatives, project risks, and progress on infrastructure modernization. 
Required Qualifications
  •  12+ years of enterprise IT experience. 
  •  5+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, infrastructure architecture, or senior infrastructure design roles. 
  •  Strong background in large-scale enterprise infrastructure environments. 
  •  Deep experience with data center architecture, infrastructure modernization, and enterprise platform design. 
  •  Strong experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
  •  Experience with virtualization and container platforms such as VMware, Kubernetes, and/or OpenShift
  •  Strong understanding of enterprise networking, storage, backup, disaster recovery, and identity platforms. 
  •  Experience designing highly available, scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure solutions. 
  •  Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks; TOGAF preferred
  •  Strong understanding of infrastructure security, compliance, governance, and risk management. 
  •  Ability to work effectively with IT leadership, engineers, vendors, and cross-functional business teams. 
  •  Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
  •  Ability to work onsite in Atlanta, GA. 
Preferred Qualifications
  •  Experience supporting logistics, transportation, supply chain, or large enterprise operations environments. 
  •  Experience with enterprise infrastructure modernization programs. 
  •  Experience with hybrid cloud transformation initiatives. 
  •  Experience participating in Architecture Review Board or enterprise governance processes. 
  •  TOGAF certification or equivalent architecture certification. 
  •  Experience with infrastructure automation, Infrastructure as Code, or DevOps-aligned practices. 
  •  Experience supporting mission-critical, high-availability enterprise systems.
