DigiOffice is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Engineer to support the design, configuration, development, integration, and ongoing optimization of the ServiceNow platform within a large enterprise environment. This role is the primary technical engineering resource responsible for translating IT Service Management and Service Design requirements into scalable ServiceNow solutions.

This position requires more than basic ServiceNow administration. The ideal candidate understands how ServiceNow supports the broader IT operating model and can build and maintain the technical capabilities required to support service ownership, CMDB/CSDM maturity, SLAs, reporting, governance, and operational readiness.

This is a 100% on-site role in Johns Creek, GA. Remote or hybrid candidates will not be considered. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Key Responsibilities
Platform Engineering & Development
  • Configure, develop, enhance, and maintain ServiceNow applications, modules, workflows, forms, business rules, notifications, and automation.
  • Develop workflows and automation to improve IT operational efficiency and reduce manual processes.
  • Build and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise platforms using APIs, IntegrationHub, MID Server, or equivalent technologies.
  • Support ServiceNow platform upgrades, patches, testing, releases, and production deployments.
  • Troubleshoot platform issues and identify opportunities to improve performance, usability, and data quality.
ITSM, CMDB & Service Design
  • Support and enhance ITSM capabilities including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge, and Service Level Management.
  • Support the implementation and continued maturity of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and Common Service Data Model (CSDM).
  • Configure ServiceNow to support Business Services, Application Services, technical services, infrastructure CIs, and their relationships.
  • Translate Service Design requirements into functional ServiceNow configurations and solutions.
  • Configure and maintain service tiering, criticality, ownership, escalation paths, and support models.
Reporting, SLAs & Governance
  • Develop and maintain SLAs, OLAs, KPIs, operational metrics, dashboards, and reporting.
  • Support executive and operational reporting requirements using ServiceNow reporting capabilities.
  • Participate in ServiceNow governance and help establish standards for configuration, development, and data quality.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, configuration standards, and knowledge articles.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Support
  • Partner with Infrastructure, Security, Application Development, Service Management, and business stakeholders to ensure ServiceNow accurately reflects the enterprise technology environment.
  • Support operational readiness and transition-to-support activities for new or changed services.
Requirements
Required
  • 4+ years of hands-on ServiceNow experience in an enterprise production environment.
  • Strong experience configuring and supporting ServiceNow ITSM modules.
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience with CMDB and CSDM implementation and maturity.
  • Experience configuring workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and Flow Designer.
  • Experience with ServiceNow reporting, dashboards, SLAs, and operational metrics.
  • Experience with REST/SOAP API integrations or other integration technologies.
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL and IT Service Management processes.
  • Ability to translate business and operational requirements into technical ServiceNow solutions.

Preferred
  • Experience with ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping.
  • Experience with IntegrationHub and MID Server.
  • Experience implementing or maturing CSDM within a large enterprise environment.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or equivalent certification.
  • ITIL Foundation certification or equivalent practical ITSM experience.
  • Experience supporting enterprise Service Design or Service Management transformation initiatives.
What We Are NOT Looking For
  • Candidates whose ServiceNow experience is limited to basic ticket management or administration only.
  • Engineers who cannot independently translate service design and operational requirements into platform solutions.
  • Candidates without hands-on CMDB or CSDM configuration experience.
